Welcome to the Funny Farm.

Shirley and I were cleaning out the goat enclosure so that Chloe and Besty would have fresh bedding to have their kids.  We were using a wheelbarrow that had a massive crack in the tire.  It worked, but was taking a lot of energy to wheel it through the mud and slush.  We finally got smart and decided to use the ATV and trailer, the only problem was that it had a flat tire and we couldn't get the air compressor to work.  We phoned John and asked him to help us when he came home for lunch.

When John came home, he came down the driveway toward the barn and the fun began.  We had to try to keep the goats, dog, and cats away from the truck.  For some reason our animals gravitate toward moving vehicles.  Trying to corral three different types of animals is impossible, but we managed to keep them away from the vehicle.  John finally got to the back and parked.  He opened up the door and had two goat looking up at him.  He slowly moved past the very pregnant goats and started walking towards the barn.  Usually the dog comes and greets him, but the dog has been head butted by Besty so he stays far away from the goats.  Suddenly a cat came whizzing through the air and landed square on John's back.  His face went white and his mouth dropped open.  He asked "What kind of funny farm have I come to?"  Shirley quickly took the cat off his back.  Good thing the three hens and one rooster roaming outside decided not to bother John.  All three of us walked into the barn.  I looked back and noticed his truck window was open.  Shirley was behind me so I told her to quickly go close the window.  Our cats think the inside of a vehicle is wonderful and if they can get into one they will.  Luckily none were inside and Shirley closed the window.  John got the tire filled up and backed the ATV out for us.  John than left the "Funny Farm" and had a nice relaxing lunch inside.
